Okay.. so on Saturday afternoon I was with Bri, Emmy, Carson and Dal. We were all SO bored so we decied to walk down to the store. We all made a plan to walk into the store in pairs... just in case any Socs arrived. Bri and Emmy walked in first... but Carson and Dally wanted to go in first. I suggested that why don't they walk in together. They didn't listen so Carson and Dallas ended up going in first. They came out 5 minutes later with Pepsi and Candy. Emmy and Bri went in after... they got the same thing. It was my turn to go in and I felt like the odd one out since I had nobody to go in with. As I picked up my pop I heard Socs... Damn it! What did they want?
"Move it Greaser! Your in our way!" I turned round to see Bob and Randy.
"Hm... Why don't you move!" I knew it was the wrong thing to argue back.. but they really made me mad. They came closer and grabbed me by the collar of my sweater.
"That was the wrong thing for you to say... Greaser. We wanna fight!!" Randy spat in my face.
"Uh... get off me!" I pushed him off me and threw the money on the counter. I ran out of the store. Nobody asked any questions, they just ran after me. Finally I ran out of breath and rolled onto the grass. Everyone sat around me.
"Lilly... what happened?" Bri asked.
"Yea... Lilly. You look so pale." Carson added. Dallas just sat there laughing. Carson turned around and hit him over the head.
"Socs!" I answered.
"What about those damned Socs?" Dally asked.
"They wanna fight...." I replied.
"Oh... so were having a rumble?" Dal and Carson asked.
"Hmmm... kinda.."
"When is the rumble Lilly?" Bri asked.
"Its tomorrow.. Sunday night at 10:00pm." I answered. I felt cold and warm all at the same time. Everyone was surprised. I knew I shouldn't have gone in there alone... or answered them back. But Greasers can beat those damn Socs!

We walked to the Curtis' house. Everyone was there. We told them about the rumble that's going to happen tomorrow night.
"I don't know whats going to happen tomorrow. But all I know is that we can beat those Socs!" I explained! Everyone nodded.
"Yea! We all need to have positive thoughts for tomorrow guys!" Brook added.
"Soda... if it wasn't for you we wouldn't have all these friends we have now." Bri answered. We all looked at each other.
"GROUP HUG!" Steve shouted. We all laughed and had a huge group hug. Us Greasers feel like one big family! I love you guys! Im sorry about what I got us into for tomorrow!

Freedom Writers Review

My favourite part in the movie was when you find out that it's based on a true story. I think the movie shows that even if your a different race, you can still get along with others. Violence isn't a solution for everything... actually violence is NEVER the answer. When Mrs. Gruell first started... nobody liked her. She didn't feel like they gave her enough respect. So... she decided to let them read the Diary of Anne Frank. When they read it Eva comes in a slams the book onto the desk. She kind of got mad because nobody told her that Anne Frank was going to die. The class came up with a good idea that they raise money to invite the person who looked after Anne Frank, to talk about the holicost. After being in the same class for Freshman and Sophmore year, the whole class learned how to get along. They didn't care how different they were... because they realized differences didn't matter anymore. Violence wasn't going to solve anything anymore, they all managed to get along in this class. They loved their teacher so much now they wanted to stay with her for their Junior and Senior year. Alot of problems went on to keep the class together... and after that they were able to stay together!

This is how I met Candie Neilson!

I woke up at 6:00 this morning, which was very early for me! My Sister, Emily, had asked me to go down to the store to buy some pancake mix or some waffles for breakfast! Oh, and maple syrup! Who could forget the maple syrup. Now normally I would just go and do what she asked since I love my Sister, but today it was different I argued back! "Emily! You go get the breakfast!" Emily looked at me in disgust. "Lillian, What's wrong with you today?" I stared at her. "What's wrong with me? Whats wrong with you?" I opened the door and walked out!

I Walked past my cousin house! Then down main street I saw a box of cute little puppies! They Were SO cute! The strangest thing about my morning was, you'd never believe me if I told you but, a girl was running down the road in a towel and slippers! Strange!? I then reached the Bargin Store.

The Bargin Store was built in the 1930's so it was really old! Time after time it had been repainted, but that was all. Also it had been rewired to look a bit more up to date with the lighting. The doors were white and the walls were a pale yellow! The posters inside were probably the brightest thing about it! Anyway I walked down isle 3 and found some waffles. I then walked down isle 1 and found the syrup.(Mmm Syrup!) I walked up to Todd, the cashier.

There was girl in front of me. It was the same girl I had seen running across the road in a towel and slippers. She must be freezing. I just stared at her in confusion. She suddenly turned round to look at me. "Hi, I'm Candie! I don't want to freak you out or anything, but do you have any money I can borrow??" I nodded and handed her a ten dollar bill. She paied for the bar of soap and turned around again. "Thankyou SO much! Whats your name?" She asked holding out a hand. "I'm Lillian." I shook her hand. "Emily's sister??" She asked. "Yes!" I nodded. "Well thanks again but I really have to go!" I stopped her. "We should hang out today!" Candie nodded. "Yes! Come over in about two or three hours and we can have a sleepover, but I really need to go." I was just about to say something when she bolted out the door. I said goodbye to Todd and left too.

I walked past the box of puppies again, I noticed the box said only ten dollars. And I had twenty. I decided to buy 2, one for me and the other for Candie! It would be a surprise. To signal 'Friendship'. I walked back past my Cousins house with both puppies in my arms and a bag. Then I opened the door to my home.

Emily looked at me. "You got the breakfast and 2 puppies?" She replied with a confused expression. "Yes! One for me and the other for Candie! I'm going there in about two hours to hang out and have a sleepover." I smiled. "You can hang out, but bring Candie here for the sleepover." Emily suggested and I agreed.

After about two hours of playing with Baby and Bubbles I walked to Candies! She was staying at my cousins house so that was pretty easy. I knocked on the door and she answered! "Hi Lillian! Who are these cute pups?" She asked. "Ones for you and the others for me! Its to signal our friendship." I handed her Bubbles. "OMG! Thankyou SO much Lillian! Come inside!"

For a couple of hours we talked and talked and she even showed me some pictures of when she was a lil kid! Then we walked onto my house for the sleepover

When is it appropriate to get in a fight?
It's never really appropriate to get into fights, because they just start a bigger chaos.

Have you ever been in one?
Yes! SO many times with my Sister.

Why do some people seem to get in a lot of them?
Some people get into fights just because they think its fun! Like bullies for example, they only get into fights because their weak. They can't really face the fact their weak so they pick fights with other people.

Does alcohol have an impact on violence?
I think it does in away because it agitates the brain and confuses the nerve system so nothing in your body can control itself.

Do fights solve the problem?
No! Fighting doesn't solve anything! Sometimes it will for defense.

What are the alternatives?
Talking about it.

Do you enjoy watching fights?
Not really. But sometimes yes if their in movies because their actually rather amusing to watch!

On Fridays we have Multicultural night, where we ask people to dress from that particualr Continent or Country and then we switch our menus to have food from that Continent or Country.

The Scrumptious-Dumptious Food Palace is a wonderful place! With the outside painted to look really old and the inside with beautiful paintings of Palaces and a huge mural of a Palace on the other wall. The floor is built with stones and the tables are really long. Just like in the Harry Potter movies.
The food critic rated it as the best 5-star resturant ever.
There are two main locations, by the lake shore and on a the mountain.
You'll have the best time at The Scrumptious-Dumptious Food Palace.

Our three signature dishes are: The Crazy Skewers, Big Dada Meal and Death By Everything Wonderful.

The Crazy Skewers
Barbeque sticks stuck through Cucumber, Tomato, Carrots, Chicken, Beef or Shrimp. Served with a Ranch Dipping Sauce.

Big Dada Meal
A burger with, Lettuce, Tomato, Pickles, Cheese and Ranch Dressing. Served with Potatoe wedges or fries, with more Ranch Dressing and a big piece of Garlic Bread.

Death By Everything Wonderful
A big bowl of Vanilla, Strawberry or Chocolate Ice Cream. With Chocolate, Hot Fudge or Caramel Syrup. With a slice of caramel chocolate cake, gummy bears, malteasers and chunks of fudge. Topped off with Whipped Cream. MANAGERS SPECIAL!

Two interesting facts about this restaurant or the workers.
1. The reason why Death By Everything Wondeful is The Managers Special is because shes always wanted to make it herself! :D
2. They tried to base the restaurant on a Harry Potter Theme!
